Welcome to The Soundport Recording Studio

The Soundport Recording Studio was originally opened in January of 2004 by Songwriter/Producer/Engineer Michael Padilla in Berkeley, also the lead singer/guitarist in the band dora flood( www.doraflood.com ). We have since moved to Grass Valley California to create a true recording retreat with full guest accomodations. The goal is still to combine true analog gear with the latest digital technology to create a hybrid studio of the highest quality. Sessions at The Soundport are engineered by Michael. He is also available for producing as well as some session work (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards) at no extra cost. A friendly and creative atmosphere is always the norm.
